Program Overview: 

The Leadership NEXT: Successful Succession Roundtable is an experiential event designed to help incoming and newly-appointed executives become more effective in their role as the top leader in their company. Discussion topics address common issues new leaders face in the C-suite and is the ideal program for new leaders or professionals who’ve been tapped for succession.

Zweig Group’s team of management experts – who have extensive experience working with AEC firm leaders – moderate the two-day program. The interactive roundtable format puts YOU in control of the subject matter presented in a guided-discussion format to encourage dialogue among all attendees.

Join us for the Successful Successor Roundtable and take advantage of this opportunity to network with fellow firm leaders who are experiencing similar challenges to those you’re facing. And, come prepared to share your challenges, stories, tips, and techniques from your experience as a new firm leader.

 

Discussion topics include:

  • Your role as the directional leader of the firm
  • Transitioning from colleague to supervisor
  • How – and when – to transition client relationships as you move from the project team to the executive team
  • Implementing change – and putting your stamp on your firm – while successfully working with your successor, firm Board of Directors, and existing leaders
  • Maintaining day-to-day skills that elevated you as a leader and opened the door to the C-suite while balancing your new leadership role and implementing new strategic initiatives
  • Firm organization, delegation and grooming the C-suite

Attendees of Successful Successors Roundtable earn 12 PDH/1.2 CEU of continuing education credits!

Zweig Group seminars are eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDH) credits and Continuing Education Units (CEU). All attendees receive a certificate of completion indicating the number of hours earned during each seminar. Zweig Group is a registered provider with the American Institute of Architects.
